* We have received reports that bulk carrier, POLESIE ran aground during its entry to Barranquilla port on 9 June 2022.

* It is reported that the vessel was later refloated with assistance from four tugs.

* POLESIE later berthed at Barranquilla where the vessel remains under repair.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
