* We have received reports that general cargo ship, VESTBORG ran aground in a position approximately 8 nautical miles northeast of Kristiansund, Norway, on 15 December 2022.

* The vessel was refloated the next day and safely berthed in Kristiansund for inspection.

* There are no reports of damage to the vessel as a result of the grounding, however, it is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
