CRISTIN HT

* We have received reports that Bulk carrier CRISTIN HT (IMO:9455985), suffered an engine failure in a position approximately 43 nautical miles southeast of Syracuse, Italy, on 15 May 2024.

* It is reported that repairs could not be completed by the crew and the vessel was later taken under tow to Aliaga, Turkey.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with the cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
